Women's History Walk around Lichfield

The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum (SJBM) is organising a Women's History Walk around Lichfield city centre on Saturday 7th March starting at 2.00 pm outside the SJBM in Market Street.  The focus will be on the notable women from history with a Lichfield connection and the guided walk, taking about 90 minutes, will visit locations associated with the various individuals who made their mark, examining their significance and achievements.  Tickets cost £6 and must be pre-booked - you can call at the SJBM to do this, or 'phone 01543 264972.  Alternatively use the Eventbrite link available on the SJBM website:    https://www.samueljohnsonbirthplace.org.uk   and select the What's On webpage, to locate the link.

Printed back issues of the Society’s Transactions are now available for free, subject to payment of postage and packing, to anyone who would like them, whether a SA&HS Member or not.  This offer is however subject to availability, some of the earlier Volumes now being out of print - please enquire.
