Newsletter Issue No. 151 January 2026, available now.

2nd January 2026

Compiled and edited by Richard Totty.  We hope you find it interesting and informative.

Included in the various content are details of the SA&HS spring 2026 programme of lectures, both those delivered 'live' in person in front of an audience at Wade Street Church in Lichfield, and those taking place remotely via the means of Zoom - see pages 13-17; Gareth Seddon is our Lecture Programme Secretary.  Elsewhere our Social Media Secretary Sophie Day accounts for the success encountered in raising the Society's profile through our very active and closely managed social media - Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Bluesky - and why this is important - see Sophie's article on pages 8-11.  And there's more .. including, on pages 2-3, an introduction from local historian Sam Whitehouse to his paper The Parted Veil now available to read in full on the SA&HS website - when on the latter, select the drop down from 'Links & Resources'.
