Staffordshire Archaeological and Historical Society
On Saturday November 24th 2012 the Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire unveiled a milestone in Roman style which had been commissioned by the Parish Council of Wall (Letocetum), near Lichfield, to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee.
Previously, on Sunday July 10th 2011 the Friends of Letocetum organised an Open Day at the site as part the National Archaeology Festival. Visitors were entertained and inspired by various displays.
